What is APSCo Compliance+?
Compliance+ was developed by APSCo, a membership body dedicated to representing excellence in the professional recruitment industry, to provide an uncompromising quality benchmark for Education and Social Work recruitment companies. This means that as an education recruitment agency we go beyond the statutory requirements helping to better safeguard children and vulnerable adults.
Each year, we are audited by APSCo to ensure that we are adhering to the standards set. The audit includes file and policy checks and interviews with our teaching staff and schools with work with as well as our own team. APSCo also lookout for evidence that we are actively promoting our Compliance+ status on our website and social media platforms.

What it means for our schools and our teaching staff
Schools - when choosing Smile Education as your recruitment partner you can be sure that all of our teaching, non-teaching and support staff have undergone rigorous safeguarding and compliance checks and are safe to work with you students in your school.
Teaching staff - our strict registration process is designed to protect both you and the students you work with. During your registration, you’ll be asked to provide at least two references and provide details of our employment history and education in addition to a recent DBS (if you don’t have one, we can put one in process for you).
