We are proud as punch to say that we achieved 100% in our 2020 APSCo Compliance+ audit. Not only have we achieved top marks but we also beat our score of 99% from the previous year and this is our fourth pass in a row.
What is APSCo Compliance+?
Compliance+ was developed by APSCo, a membership body dedicated to representing excellence in the professional recruitment industry, to provide an uncompromising quality benchmark for Education and Social Work recruitment companies. This means that as an education recruitment agency we go beyond the statutory requirements helping to better safeguard children and vulnerable adults.
Each year, we are audited by APSCo to ensure that we are adhering to the standards set. The audit includes file and policy checks and interviews with our teaching staff and schools with work with as well as our own team. APSCo also lookout for evidence that we are actively promoting our Compliance+ status on our website and social media platforms.
What the APSCo auditors said
“There was clear evidence throughout the organisation that Smile has a commitment to Safeguarding. This is clearly evidenced on the company web site and through interviews with the Directors and staff.
It was clear from interviews that staff felt well equipped and supported in their roles and that directors are very invested in the day to day business and the development and wellbeing of staff.”
