We are a supply teaching agency with a difference. We know that every teacher and school is different so we don’t just place our teachers in any old school, we find our teachers a school that suits not only their abilities but their personalities too. We work alongside a variety of primary, secondary and SEN schools in the West Midlands as well as further afield and are confident that there is a school out there for everyone - just take a look at our success stories.
Recruitment is hard work but that doesn’t mean it can’t be fun. We are a driven and fun-loving supply teaching agency, who try our hardest to make school staff across the Midlands smile. A typical day for us involves meeting with schools and teaching professionals (albeit virtually these days) from either the office or our own homes and working with them to support them in whatever way we can. When we’re not working, you’ll find us raising money for charity by baking or climbing a hill, enjoying one of the very many great bars Birmingham has to offer or even partaking in a fun lunchtime quiz.
We are proud to be an APSCo Compliance+ accredited education recruitment agency. Compliance+ is a thorough best practice quality standard for education and social work recruitment businesses which goes beyond the statutory safeguarding standards. To ensure that we uphold these practices, we are audited every year and are pleased to have achieved 100% in our 2020 APSCo Compliance+ audit. Safeguarding is our number one priority and we would never place anyone into a classroom or school that we wouldn’t want teaching our own children. You can find out more about our registration process and what it entails here.
For us, it’s about more than just recruitment. We see ourselves as an extension of, not only the schools that we work with, but the communities that we work within. Whether that involves supporting at university careers fair, school sports day or local fundraiser, you can count on us to be there to support you in whatever way we can. We didn't even stop during the the pandemic, where we hosted COVID Q&A sessions to help our teaching staff get a better understanding and provided support for NQTs with an NQT Q&A session too.
Our partnership with the Albion Foundation allows us to do even more by bringing sports into schools both virtually and in-person through our Smile Soccer Stars events which take place termly. Giving students of all backgrounds the chance to compete with some children actually scouted following the event!
Our team also fair share for charity and have walked miles, run, hiked, baked and gotten Pretty Muddy doing so. Over the years we raised money for the likes of Smile for Joel, Alzheimer's Research UK and the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Our charity of the year, this year, as nominated by our teaching and support staff is Acorns Children’s Hospice.
