We're not your average supply teaching agency - we're better! We work in partnership with primary, secondary and SEN schools in the Midlands and are confident that there is a school out there for everyone. Having supported the education sector for over 10 years, we know that every teacher and school is different and, we do our very best to find all of our teaching and non-teaching staff with a job that they'll love.
Recruitment is hard work but that doesn’t mean it can’t be fun. We are a driven and fun-loving supply teaching agency, who try our hardest to make school staff across the Midlands smile. A typical day for us involves meeting with schools and teaching professionals (albeit virtually these days) from either the office or our own homes and working with them to support them in whatever way we can. When we’re not working, you’ll find us raising money for charity by baking or climbing a hill, enjoying one of the very many great bars Birmingham has to offer or even partaking in a fun lunchtime quiz.
We are proud to be an APSCo Compliance+ accredited education recruitment agency. Compliance+ is a CCS recognised, thorough best practice quality standard for education and social work recruitment businesses that goes beyond the statutory safeguarding standards. To ensure that these standards are maintained we are subject to an audit each year. We are proud to say that in our most recent audit we received 99.5% highlighting just how seriously we take safeguarding. You can find more information on our registration process and what we require from you here.
For us, it’s about more than just recruitment. We see ourselves as an extension of, not only the schools that we work with, but the communities that we work within. Whether that involves supporting at university careers fair, school sports day or local fundraiser, you can count on us to be there to support you in whatever way we can. We didn't even stop during the the pandemic, where we hosted COVID Q&A sessions to help our teaching staff get a better understanding and provided support for NQTs with an NQT Q&A session too.
Our partnership with the Albion Foundation allows us to do even more by bringing sports into schools both virtually and in-person through our Smile Soccer Stars events which take place termly. Giving students of all backgrounds the chance to compete with some children actually scouted following the event!
Our team also fair share for charity and have walked miles, run, hiked, baked and gotten Pretty Muddy doing so. Over the years we raised money for the likes of Smile for Joel, Alzheimer's Research UK and the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Our charity of the year, this year, as nominated by our teaching and support staff is Acorns Children’s Hospice.
