Smile Education are recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in West Birmingham who are looking for a Teacher of Design Technology (DT) to join them from September 2020.

The role will include teaching KS3 Resistant Materials for an initial 3 month contract which may continue. You will also have responsibility for a form group and be expected to take part in parents evenings. 

The successful applicant will have:

• Experience teaching DT to KS3 groups
• Teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS)
• Passion for Design Technology 
• Able to prepare and deliver practical lessons in a workshop in a safe manner

You will have support from your consultant at Smile throughout the recruitment process, which will include a video interview. Smile are currently conducting online registrations, giving you the opportunity to have a much more in depth discussion with your consultant. Your consultant will support you through the interview phase with the school and offer feedback throughout the process.
