Running for Caudwell Children: Kash’s Latest Charity Challenge

At Smile Education, we want to make sure every child gets the support they deserve in education. Every day, our work in SEN recruitment puts us in contact with incredible children, families, and school staff who show us the difference that the right resources and care can make.

That’s why our North West Director, Kash, is taking on his most ambitious personal challenge yet - a series of endurance events, including marathons, half marathons, and even a Hyrox, to raise £2,500 for Caudwell Children.

Why Caudwell Children?

Caudwell Children exists to make life fair for disabled and autistic children. Their work transforms lives across the UK, providing:

Life-changing equipment – from powered wheelchairs to sensory kits
Autism assessments – opening doors to support
Family support – practical and emotional help for parents and siblings
Destination Dreams – holidays and respite breaks for seriously ill children
Empowering independence – helping children thrive, not just survive

These are not just “nice-to-haves”, they are lifelines. In our work with schools, we see first-hand how access to the right support can completely change a child’s educational journey

Kash’s Challenge

Kash has been working in the education sector for over 10 years, helping schools across the Midlands and North West find exceptional SEND staff. Now, he’s swapping his desk (and recruitment calls) for miles of road and training sessions, taking on events including:

Cheshire Half Marathon – September 2025
Manchester Half Marathon – October 2025
Wilmslow Half Marathon – February 2026
London Marathon – April 2026
…and more to be announced!

Every step he takes will help Caudwell Children continue their life-changing work.
