Early Years Teaching Assistant to join one of their welcoming mainstream primary schools in Cheshire.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Early Years professional who is looking for a full-time role and is eager to become fully immersed in school life. The position is available to start immediately, with the possibility of continuing into the new academic year in September.

The RoleAs an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support children within the Early Years setting, helping them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Work with children aged up to 5 years old.
- Deliver targeted one-to-one support and lead small group activities.
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective learning experiences.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals while also demonstrating the ability to work independently when required.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A recognised Early Years qualification (essential – alternative qualifications will not be considered).
- A sound knowledge and understanding of the EYFS Framework.
- At least 6 months of UK-based experience working within an Early Years setting.
- Experience supporting children on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
- The ability to take direction from the class teacher and adapt to the needs of the children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Confidence working independently and alongside other professionals.
Requirements
- Hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one through Smile Education.
- Be able to provide two years of references, including at least one reference commenting on your experience working with children.
- Be available to commit to full-time hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.
