The Role:
You will be working within a Reception class, providing 1:1 support for a child throughout the school day. This includes assisting with classroom learning, supporting personal care needs, and helping to manage behaviour in a positive and effective manner. The role requires patience, consistency, and a nurturing approach to support the child’s development and wellbeing.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or relevant recognised course)
- Recent UK-based school experience is essential
- Candidates with overseas qualifications or without UK school experience will not be considered
- Experience supporting children with additional needs, particularly on a 1:1 basis, is highly desirable
- A caring, proactive, and resilient attitude
