 Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a school in Stockton-on-Tees.

Position:
Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Stockton-on-Tees
Hours: 35.5 hours per week, term-time only + 5 days
Pay: £110 per day

The successful candidate will support teaching and learning across the school, work alongside class teachers and SLT, support pupils with SEND, manage behaviour effectively and, where appropriate, lead lessons under supervision.
Requirements Applicants must have:
  • Previous experience working as a HLTA or in a similar senior Teaching Assistant role
  • Relevant qualifications for the position
  • A valid DBS registered on the Update Service
  • Contactable school references
  • Recent experience working within a school setting
  • A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • The ability to support learning, behaviour management and pupil progress

Please note: Applicants without the relevant qualifications will not be considered for this position.
