We are a welcoming and inclusive primary school located in the M5 area of Salford and we are currently looking for a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant Early Years team this September.
 
Location: M5, Manchester
Start Date: September 2025
Pay: £83.40 – £100.00 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time

About the Role:
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:
  • Support children in Nursery and Reception as they settle into school life
  • Deliver 1:1 and small group sessions, particularly for children with additional or special educational needs
  • Assist the class teacher and SENCO with targeted interventions and Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Promote independence, confidence, and social skills
  • Support with personal care and help pupils transition smoothly throughout the day
  • Contribute to observation, assessment, and planning processes
 
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
  • Has experience working with children in EYFS or similar early years settings
  • Brings a calm, positive, and flexible approach to supporting young learners
  • Has confidence supporting children with SEND (including speech & language, autism, or developmental delay)
  • Holds a relevant qualification in education, childcare, or health & social care (desirable)
  • Has a full enhanced DBS on the update service (or is willing to apply for one)
