SEND Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join this vibrant primary school from May 2024 until the end of the academic year. The successful applicant will be supporting pupils with SEND, working both inside of the classroom to provide support through class-based learning. While also supporting small groups and on a 1:1 basis where required to provide more targeted intervention.
This is a great opportunity for anyone looing to gain more experience within SEND education. The schools is located in north Manchester, within proximity to Wigan, Bolton and Standish. The expected salary range for this position is between £85-100 per day, depending on experience.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to have prior experience of supporting children within an educational setting. Or a relevant qualification, such as Supporting Teaching and Learning within schools.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:
- Hold a relevant TA qualification such as Supporting Teaching and Learning within Schools
- Previous experience of supporting children within an education-based setting, such as within school or tuition
- Available to start after May half-term
