Smile Education is currently recruiting a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:3 basis supporting three SEN pupils within a welcoming Primary School in Bilston.
This is a long-term opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive in a classroom setting.
The Role:
- Providing tailored 1:3 support to three pupils with Special Educational Needs
- Supporting learning, engagement, and emotional development
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual support strategies
- Promoting a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
- Assisting with classroom activities and behaviour management where required
- Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Has experience working with SEN children, ideally in a primary setting
- Is patient, nurturing, and adaptable
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- A long-term placement in a supportive school
