Smile Education is recruiting passionate Level 2 and Level 3 Teaching Assistants to support a number of welcoming primary schools across Middlesbrough. Whether you're looking for long-term, short-term, or flexible supply work, we'd love to hear from you.
The RoleAs an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities.
Provide one-to-one and small group support.
Encourage children's social, emotional, and educational development.
Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
Support children with SEND where required.
Prepare classroom resources and assist with daily classroom activities.
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

About YouWe're looking for someone who has:

A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
A minimum of 6 months' UK experience working in a primary school or nursery.
Experience supporting children with a range of learning needs, including SEND (desirable).
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
Strong behaviour management skills.
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

Essential RequirementsTo be considered, you must:

Hold a recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
Have at least 6 months' UK classroom or nursery experience.
Be able to provide two years of professional references.
Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one through Smile Education.
Have the Right to Work in the UK (please note that sponsorship is not available).

Do not have UK classroom or nursery experience.
