Primary Teaching Assistant - One-to-one

Smile Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a group of a primary school in Melton Mowbray, close to the the town centre. who require additional support in their primary SEND department. The school are keen to meet Teaching Assistants/LSAs to work on a one-to-one basis with a pupil in Year 5. This positions will start on August the 26th and will run for the acdemic year. I am interested in candidates that can work five days a week and can commit to a term as the minimum and ideally an academic year.

SEN Teaching Assistants
Primary school in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire - LE13
£85-100 per day
One-to-one with a Year 5 pupil
On-going work
NVQ Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or a degree in Psychology or Special Educational Needs would be ideal but not essential.

My client primary school are keen to meet caring, committed and enthusiastic teaching assistants who are interested in supporting pupils with special needs. This community primary schools are driven by providing an inclusive education to all pupils.

The school would love to meet any Teaching Assistants that have practical and theoretical knowledge of SEND, especially those with an interest in Autism. They are looking for the recruited teaching assistant to work on a part time basis but at times there are longer term full time roles in order that they establish a good working bond with the pupils they support.

If you’re a psychology graduate looking to gain a few years’ experience en-route to becoming an Educational Psychologist this could be the perfect school for you.

I am looking for those candidates that, ideally, have worked in either primary settings or early years settings previously.
