Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Swadlincote
Full-Time | September 2025 Start | Supportive Primary School
Smile Education is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a friendly and inclusive primary school in Swadlincote for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant. This full-time role starts in September 2025 and offers the opportunity to make a real impact across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
Your Role Will Include:
  • Supporting teaching and learning across KS1 and KS2 classrooms.
  • Adapting to different year groups and class settings as needed.
  • Delivering targeted small-group and 1:1 interventions.
  • Providing dedicated support for pupils with SEND, boosting both academic progress and emotional wellbeing.
  • Working closely with teachers and SEND staff to ensure inclusive, effective learning.
  • Communicating proactively with colleagues to support pupil progress.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential).
  • Experience across KS1 and KS2.
  • Confidence in leading small-group and 1:1 learning activities.
  • Experience or interest in supporting pupils with SEND.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
