Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant 
Location: Burton-on-Trent
Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier if available)
Contract Type: Full-Time
Salary: Dependent on experience

About the Role:
  • Supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage within the schools pre-school classroom 
  • Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and age-appropriate learning activities
  • Helping to plan, engaging learning activities and lessons weekly
  • Promoting a safe, caring and stimulating learning environment
  • Assisting with observations, assessments and classroom routines
  • Managing a group of approximately 8 Key Children - monitoring individual development progress
  • Maintaining a strong and positive parent partnership 
Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years or equivalent
  • Have previous experience working in an EYFS setting (nursery or school)
  • Be passionate about early childhood development
  • Be warm, reliable and proactive in supporting children’s needs
  • Have experience as a Key worker and monitoring individual development needs and progress
