Smile Education is a leading education recruitment agency dedicated to matching talented educators with rewarding opportunities. We are currently seeking a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to cover maternity leave at a reputable pre-school in Cannock, Staffordshire.

The Role:
As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education to young children aged 0-5 years. Working within a dynamic pre-school environment, you will be responsible for delivering engaging activities, fostering positive relationships with children and families, and promoting the holistic development of each child.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to support children's learning and development.
  • Create a nurturing and stimulating environment conducive to learning and exploration.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to foster a sense of belonging and security.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, identifying areas for growth and implementing tailored interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on children's development and wellbeing.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in a similar role within an early years setting that we can reference.
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • DBS on the update service of willignness to obtain one.
  • Valid Right to Work in the UK documents.
