Smile Education Northwest are thrilled to be working alongside a thriving primary school located in north Manchester. We are seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join this friendly team from May 2024.

We are currently seeking an EYFS TA to join this welcoming team from May 2024, until the end of the academic year. Pathways do exist for the role to extended further into the new academic year if all parties are happy to do so. The successful candidate will be supporting pupils in a free-flow classroom environment, helping pupils learn through play and supporting with creative activities design to support curriculum intents. There is a primary focus on phonics, ensuring pupils are ready to take on more challenging concepts in the new academic year.

This is a fantastic opportunity for any TA’s looking for a new challenge within a supportive and welcoming primary school environment. The school is located in north Manchester, within proximity to Salford, Trafford, Prestwich and Manchester City Centre. The expected salary range for the role is between £80-100 per day.

What to expect from applicants?

We would like applicants to have prior experience in supporting pupils. Applicants who have a suitable Level 3 TA qualification or higher are encouraged to apply. Applicants who have a considerable work history in a similar role without an official qualification are also encouraged to apply.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

-        A relevant TA qualification, such as L3 Supporting Teaching and Learning


-        Confident in working within a free-flow school environment and supporting pupils learning through play


-        Adaptable nature and calm nature to fully support pupils unique learning requirements.
