English Graduate Teaching Assistant – The Role

Full-time, term-time position starting September
Work alongside a supportive and experienced English department
Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions to boost student progress
Support pupils in developing their confidence in English Language and Literature
Gain essential classroom experience before pursuing teacher training

Person Specification

A 2:2 or above in an English-related degree (English Language, English Literature, Creative Writing, etc.)
Passionate about English and helping students succeed
Previous experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, classroom support) is desirable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Committed, reliable, and enthusiastic about education
