Make a Difference Every Day A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Birmingham is seeking a caring, committed SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a young girl with autism.

This is a truly rewarding opportunity for someone who is patient, positive, and passionate about helping children thrive.
You’ll be joining a supportive staff team where every child is valued, and where your contribution will play a vital role in a child’s growth, confidence, and daily success.

About the Role:
✔ Provide 1:1 support for a bright, curious young girl with autism
✔ Help her engage in learning, build confidence, and develop independence
✔ Assist with communication, social skills and emotional regulation
✔ Work closely with class teachers and the SEN team
✔ Create a calm, nurturing and encouraging learning environment
✔ Adapt activities and resources to meet her individual needs

What We’re Looking For:
✔ A warm, patient and understanding individual
✔ Experience supporting children with autism (preferred, not essential)
✔ A genuine passion for working with SEND pupils
✔ Strong communication and relationship-building skills
✔ Someone who can bring positivity, creativity, and encouragement to each day
✔ Reliability, empathy and commitment to long-term support
