Intervention Teacher- Wolverhampton

Are you a teacher looking for a new intervention role for new term? 

Smile Education are currently working in partnership with a large Wolverhampton Primary School, looking to recruit a teacher to provide Intervention classes to higher Key Stage 2.

This full-time role will involve working throughout Key Stage 2, providing support with core subjects including maths and literacy, to prepare pupils for assessment. The role will involve running extra booster sessions for children needing extra support within the classroom, as well as providing support for Gifted and Talented children. 

This role will see you work within a large Key Stage 2 team, working alongside the class teacher and teaching assistants to provide the relevant support to children, depending on the child's abilities. The role will see you splitting your time between small groups from all year groups. 

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Have Qualified Teacher Status
  • Previous experience of working with Key Stage 2
  • Previous experience of intervention roles is desirable, however not essential. Those without previous experience will also be considered for the role.
