This award-winning college has presented extremely successful results time and time again over the last few years. Staff are well settled and genuinely happy in their roles here, this is evident when you walk around the setting. A tour of the college can be arranged and is encouraged prior to any formal interview stage. The setting has strong links with their surrounding community including local secondary schools. They can fully support NQT’s who have trained in Secondary but wish to secure a role in their sixth form with their NQT year. An arrangement can be made for you to complete any required NQT placements in one of the many secondary schools the college has a relationship with.

The majority of the provision at this sixth form is Level 3; A-levels and the BTEC Extended Diploma. They also offer a number of Level 2 qualifications delivered to post-16 students and their small amount of Level 1 provision is delivered by specialist teachers, as is their Adult Learning provision. The senior leaders and staff at this college promote high levels of respect and as such do not have the same restrictions as schools. Students are free to leave the grounds on free periods and Ofsted have commented that behaviour of the students is exemplary.

Last year 90% of their students who applied successfully progressed to university. Working with these young people means you have the opportunity to make a real and significant impact on their lives. You will be in a position to make a dynamic difference to their futures and that’s what being a teacher is all is about.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:
