About the Role We are looking for an individual who can:
- Provide tailored support to students with a range of Special Educational Needs across Key Stage 3 through to 6th Form.
- Confidently manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour, using positive and restorative behaviour approaches.
- Fully immerse themselves in school life, helping to create a supportive and engaging environment for all learners.
- Bring a positive, resilient attitude to enhance students’ academic progress, confidence, and overall school experience.
- A welcoming and highly respected SEN provision within the Wolverhampton community.
- Caters for students from KS3 to 6th Form, offering a personalised and structured curriculum.
- Known for its inclusive ethos, supportive leadership team, and strong relationships with parents and carers.
- A relevant qualification linked to working with children, education, or additional needs.
- Proven UK school experience, with a reference specifically commenting on your interaction with children or young people.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new one through Smile Education.
- Confidence, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting young people with diverse needs.
