- Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
- Physical and sensory needs

The Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with a range of complex learning and communication needs
- Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored learning opportunities
- Promote pupils’ independence, emotional wellbeing, and social development
- Support the implementation of EHCP targets and personalised learning strategies
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement within the classroom
- Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and external professionals
- Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare, Health & Social Care, Family Support, or a related field
- Proven experience working with children with SEND and their families
- Knowledge of safeguarding practices and child protection procedures
- Experience working alongside multi-agency professionals including health and social care teams
- Understanding of SEND processes, EHCPs, and early help frameworks, or a willingness to develop this knowledge
- Additional training or professional development in areas such as ASD, SEMH, speech and language needs, or complex care (desirable)
