We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide 1:1 support for a student with complex needs. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for long-term stability within a supportive school environment.
Role details:
- Position: Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support)
- Contract: 12 weeks temporary leading to permanent employment
- Location: Private Independent School
- Start date: Immediate
- Provide personalised 1:1 support for a student with complex needs
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
- Work independently and effectively to meet the student’s needs
- Support learning across KS3 and KS4
- Work closely with teaching staff and SEN teams to ensure student progress
- Previous experience working in a similar role within a school setting
- Recent experience supporting students with SEN
- Proven track record of working with KS3 and KS4 pupils
- Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to adapt to different situations
- A committed, reliable, and professional approach
- A pathway to permanent employment after 12 weeks
