Smile Education are proud to be supporting The Endeavour Trust in their search for an experienced Primary SEND Teacher to join one of their welcoming Wolverhampton schools. This exciting opportunity is to work within their Key Stage 1 sensory room, supporting pupils with a range of complex needs.
About the Role: This is a full teaching role within the sensory room, where you will play a vital part in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for pupils in Key Stage 1.
You will:
  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Mark and track pupil progress in line with school policies
  • Attend parents’ evenings, meetings, and contribute to wider school life
  • Work closely with support staff and the school’s SEND team
This is a busy but highly rewarding position where you’ll have the opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of young learners.
About You:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)ECTs will not be considered for this role
  • Have proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1 within a SEN school 
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of working with pupils with complex and additional needs
  • Show compassion, resilience, and excellent classroom management skills
