About the Role: This is a full teaching role within the sensory room, where you will play a vital part in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for pupils in Key Stage 1.
You will:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to individual needs
- Mark and track pupil progress in line with school policies
- Attend parents’ evenings, meetings, and contribute to wider school life
- Work closely with support staff and the school’s SEND team
About You:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs will not be considered for this role
- Have proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1 within a SEN school
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of working with pupils with complex and additional needs
- Show compassion, resilience, and excellent classroom management skills
