Smile Education is working in partnership with a supportive and welcoming primary school in the WS8 area. We are looking to recruit a dedicated One-to-One Teaching Assistant to support a Year 5 pupil starting in September.
This is a full-time, long-term position. The pupil requires additional support with communication, cognition, and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support in and out of the classroom
- Help the pupil access learning activities and adapt resources as needed
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor progress
- Create a positive and encouraging learning environment
- Experience working with children with additional learning needs (desirable)
- Patient, caring, and supportive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Committed to helping children reach their potential
- Work in a friendly, well-regarded primary school
- Ongoing support from a dedicated education consultant
