Start contributing to the academic & social development of students, with autism / ASC requirements, and contribute to a cohesive SEN department, in this highly rewarding SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity. SEN Teaching Assistant: 
The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant candidate will require a compassionate & patient manner, and prior experience working within a SEN environment, to support pupils on a 1:1, group or class basis, focusing on ensuring they are learning within a safe and engaging learning environment.SEN Teaching Assistant – The Role: 
  • Support students with an ASC / autism diagnosis
  • Carry out 1:1 and group intervention sessions
  • Collaborate with experienced teachers and the schools SENDCo
  • Flexible in supporting students across different phases
SEN Teaching Assistant – Qualifications required: 
  • Previous experience working with ASC / autism
  • Level 3 TA or degree level of education preference
  • Calm, compassionate and proactive manner
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Passion and resilience to support secondary students
