Smile Education are currently recruiting for an SEN Teacher to join a thriving Secondary special school based within Wolverhampton.
The School Leadership Team are seeking an experienced and driven SEN Teacher to join their existing staff team on a long-term, full-time basis. An immediate start for this role is available.
About the Role:
  • SEN Teacher – Secondary
  • Full time role (Term time only)
  • Supporting pupils with varying needs including ASD, SLD, MLD, SEMH
  • Instructing/Collaborating/ Supporting 1:1 Teaching Assistants
  • Delivering engaging lessons tailored to pupil needs
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assess and evaluate individual pupil progression against learning, social and emotional development goals
About You:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous experience of teaching SEN pupils
  • Strong communication skills
  • A genuine passion for teaching and supporting pupils of all abilities
  • Confidently differentiate for multiple pupils needs
  • Able to travel to Wolverhampton
  • Provide references covering the last 2 years
  • Hold an enhanced DBS Certificate or be willing to apply for a new one through Smile Education
