SEN Teacher – Secondary (SEMH Specialist) Location: B12
Pay: £150 - £220 Per day (Based on experience)
Contract: Full time, Monday–Friday until end of academic year

SEN Teacher to join their team.

The Role • Deliver structured and engaging lessons tailored to SEMH needs
• Plan and adapt lessons in line with EHCPs
• Support behaviour regulation using positive strategies
• Build strong relationships with pupils to promote trust and engagement
• Track and monitor progress academically and emotionally
• Work collaboratively with pastoral teams and external agencies
• Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
• Promote resilience, independence and confidence

Requirements • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ESSENTIAL
• Experience working with SEMH (minimum 6 months)
• Strong behaviour management skills
• SEN teaching experience (minimum 3 months)
• Ability to build positive relationships with challenging learners
• Committed to full time – reliable and consistent
• Able to provide a minimum of 2 references covering the past two years (one must reference working with children)
• Hold an enhanced DBS or willing to apply for a new one through Smile Education
