The Ideal Candidate Will Be:
- Passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs
- Self-motivated, driven, and proactive in their approach
- Positive and enthusiastic about delivering and supporting the curriculum
- Patient, understanding, and resilient
- Knowledgeable about SEN and inclusive learning strategies
- Confident working as part of a team, while also capable of working independently when required
- Committed to creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment
- A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant, Supporting Teaching & Learning, or equivalent)
- Recent experience working within an SEN or Primary school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine desire to support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Assisting with the delivery of tailored learning activities
- Promoting positive behaviour and engagement
- Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and wider staff
