The Role
- Delivering high-quality lessons in Maths, English and Science to one Year 11 student.
- Supporting the student in preparing for their GCSEs.
- Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging engagement in learning.
- Working independently and tailoring lessons to meet the student’s needs.
- Helping the student to successfully reintegrate into a mainstream setting where possible.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- ECTs and other qualifications will not be considered.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Confident in teaching across Maths, English and Science at GCSE level.
- Ability to work independently on a 1:1 basis.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Smile Education).
- A minimum of two references from the last two years, commenting specifically on your teaching and interaction with students.
