Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant

✨ What We’re Looking For:
- A minimum Level 3 qualification in Teaching Assistance or Childcare
- Strong experience and knowledge of supporting pupils with SEN
- At least 12 months’ experience working in an SEN school or supporting SEN pupils within a mainstream setting
- Confidence in supporting students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
- Ability to deliver activities and learning tasks planned by class teachers
- Skilled in behaviour management and confident in de-escalating situations
- Able to work independently and fully immerse yourself in school life
- A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for supporting children
- Able to provide two references covering the past two years
- Willing to commit to a full-time role
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through Smile Education
- Able to attend a registration appointment with Smile Education to complete safeguarding checks
