Smile Education are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Qualified Teacher to join a special needs secondary school based in Wolverhampton. This role would involved covering a variety of subject from KS3 through to 6th form.

The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment, supporting students with a range of special educational needs. Staff are passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences that help every pupil reach their full potential — academically, socially, and emotionally.
About the Role
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and specialists to promote positive learning outcomes
  • Maintain strong classroom management and uphold the school’s behaviour policy
  • Contribute fully to the wider life of the school community
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing regular feedback to students and colleagues
About You
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience working with SEND students, ideally within a specialist or alternative provision
  • Confident in adapting lessons and resources to suit individual learning needs
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Committed, empathetic, and passionate about inclusive education
