Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant – MUST HAVE LEVEL 2 OR 3 IN CHILDCARE

Are you an aspiring secondary school teacher looking to gain classroom experience before committing to teacher training?
Or are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant seeking a new challenge in a secondary school setting, supporting students with additional needs and being part of a strong pastoral and teaching team?

The Role:
• Support students with SEN across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Work 1:1, in small groups, and in the classroom to help students access the curriculum
• Collaborate closely with subject teachers and other support staff to ensure students’ progress and wellbeing
• Assist with behaviour management, differentiation, and creating an engaging learning environment
• Be flexible in supporting different students and subject areas as required

Qualifications & Skills Required:
• Previous experience working with secondary-aged students or SEN pupils
• Level 2/3 in Childcare, Education, or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, patient, and professional approach
• Classroom or educational experience desirable
