Smile Education are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school within the Staffordshire area to recruit a Teacher of Science. This is an excellent opportunity to join a school recognised for its strong community values, student-focused culture, and commitment to professional development.
 
Job Description:
The successful candidate will play a vital role in the school community, delivering innovative and engaging Science lessons in line with the national curriculum across all key stages. You will be responsible for upholding the school’s high academic standards while maintaining full compliance with the safeguarding policies required by both the school and Smile Education.
 
Ideal Candidate:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 – KS5 (A-Level) experience is a bonus
  • Strong subject knowledge
  • Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Able to plan, deliver and assess engaging science lessons
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills – with students, staff, and parents
  • Passion for science education – able to inspire curiosity and enthusiasm
