Flexible Secondary School Supply Teaching Opportunities in Stockport
Are you a qualified teacher or experienced educator looking for flexible supply teaching work in a well-regarded Stockport secondary school?
A welcoming, Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ secondary school located in a friendly village just outside Stockport is currently seeking reliable and enthusiastic Supply Teachers to provide classroom cover across a range of subjects and year groups.
Whether you’re a qualified teacher (QTS), ECT, or an experienced cover supervisor looking to step up, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain consistent classroom experience without the pressures of planning and marking.
Supply Teacher – Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 in the absence of class teachers
- Engage and support students in completing set work
- Maintain excellent classroom behaviour and a positive learning environment
- Adapt to different subjects and departments as required (subject specialism preferred but not essential)
- Support students with additional needs when necessary
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a degree-level education with relevant teaching experience
- Experience teaching or supervising in a secondary school setting
- Strong behaviour management and classroom leadership skills
- Excellent communication and adaptability
- Passion for education and a commitment to student development
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
