Smile Education is recruiting an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teacher to support secondary schools across Greater Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for educators who are passionate about science and committed to inspiring the next generation of learners.
The Role
As a Science Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with the national curriculum
- Plan, prepare, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners
- Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Promote curiosity, problem-solving, and scientific enquiry
- Maintain a safe, positive, and disciplined learning environment
- Keep accurate records of attendance, attainment, and progress
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and attend staff meetings
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers
You will have:
- A bachelor’s degree in any science or related subject
- QTS (or equivalent)
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for science education
- Effective classroom management skills
- A passion for helping students build confidence and achieve success
