Science Teacher

Smile Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Stone to recruit a Science Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school known for its strong community values, student-centred approach, and commitment to professional development.

Responsibilities of the Science Teacher Role:
  • Deliver engaging and creative Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience is a bonus)
  • Plan and assess learning in line with the national curriculum
  • Inspire students to develop a love for Science and critical thinking
  • Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and academic achievement
  • Uphold all safeguarding and school policies consistently
This Science Teacher position is ideal for someone who is passionate about education and wants to make a lasting impact in a supportive school environment.

To apply for this Science Teacher role, you will need:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
  • Strong subject knowledge and lesson planning skills
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
  • A genuine passion for teaching Science and encouraging curiosity
