Smile Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Stone to recruit a Science Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school known for its strong community values, student-centred approach, and commitment to professional development.
Responsibilities of the Science Teacher Role:
- Deliver engaging and creative Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience is a bonus)
- Plan and assess learning in line with the national curriculum
- Inspire students to develop a love for Science and critical thinking
- Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and academic achievement
- Uphold all safeguarding and school policies consistently
To apply for this Science Teacher role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
- Strong subject knowledge and lesson planning skills
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
- A genuine passion for teaching Science and encouraging curiosity
