The Role

• Deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that cater for a range of abilities
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor student progress and give effective feedback
• Help students build their knowledge, confidence and interest in Science
• Make a positive contribution to the Science department and wider school life

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Science in a secondary school
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A genuine passion for Science and education
• The ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities
• A commitment to supporting students’ academic and personal development
