Science Teacher
Smile Education is partnering with Bordesley Trust who have a high school in Redditch who are welcoming a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to their team from September 2025, or possibly earlier for the right candidate. If you’re enthusiastic about inspiring young minds through the wonders of science, we’d love to hear from you!
As a Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5 that align with the national curriculum. Your role is to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that sparks curiosity and encourages student participation. You may also be asked to cover general subjects when required, helping maintain learning momentum across the school.
You’ll join a supportive, energetic, and collaborative team committed to your professional development and to making a meaningful impact on students' academic and personal growth.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • A bachelor’s degree in a Science-related subject (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics) and QTS or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to present scientific concepts in an engaging and accessible way
  • Excellent classroom management and the ability to motivate and inspire students
  • A genuine passion for working with young people and helping them build confidence in science
