The Role – Science TeacherAs a
Science Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons to pupils in KS3 and KS4.
- Lead on Biology at KS4, with Chemistry and Physics taught to KS3 level.
- Inspire students to meet or exceed expected learning progress.
- Support the school’s inclusive ethos and contribute to a positive classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality teaching.
- Have the opportunity to shape the direction of the Science department and curriculum.
About YouTo be successful in this
Science Teacher role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A Science-related degree, ideally specialising in Biology.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A creative and adaptive teaching approach to engage students with diverse learning needs.
- Experience or understanding of special education practices (advantageous but not essential).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
