Smile Education is proud to be supporting a secondary school in Telford in their search for a passionate Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a 12-month contract with the potential to become a permanent role for the right person. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced teachers who are excited to inspire the next generation of scientists!

The Role:
You’ll be delivering engaging and well-structured lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics across KS3 and KS4.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that spark curiosity
- Monitoring and assessing student progress
- Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Supporting pupils with varying learning needs
- Participating in departmental planning and school activities

What We’re Looking For:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or ECT
- Experience teaching Science in the UK within the last 2 years 
- GSE Science knowledge - confidence to teach this to Year 10 & 11!
- Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum (KS3 & KS4)
- Ability to build rapport with students and staff
- A genuine passion for teaching and helping students succeed
- Good classroom management and a positive attitude
