Pay Scale: £150 – £230 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

The Role – PE TeacherAs a PE Teacher, you will take a lead in delivering a rich, inclusive curriculum that promotes physical fitness, sportsmanship, and personal growth across
Key Stages 3 and 4.
Responsibilities include:- Planning and delivering engaging PE lessons across a wide range of sporting activities.
- Encouraging full participation and confidence in physical education among all students, with particular emphasis on female engagement.
- Creating a positive, inclusive environment where students feel supported and inspired to achieve their personal best.
- Promoting teamwork, leadership, and resilience both in lessons and through extracurricular activities.
- Assessing progress and adapting teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Supporting the wider school community through active involvement in clubs, competitions, and school sports events.
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the quality of teaching and learning within the department.
The Ideal Candidate:- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and have experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting.
- Have a genuine passion for girls’ physical education and encouraging lifelong participation in sport.
- Possess strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students of all abilities.
- Communicate clearly and effectively, building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Be committed to personal development and reflective teaching practice.
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS registered on the update service.
