Smile Education is supporting a fantastic secondary school in Sutton Coldfield who are seeking a Media Specialist to join their team from September 2025, for an initial one-term placement.
If you have a flair for Media Studies and enjoy helping students develop practical and analytical skills in media, this could be a great short-term opportunity for you!
Role Details:
- Start Date: September 2025
- Duration: One term (with potential for extension)
- Key Stages: Teaching Eduqas GCSE and A-Level Media to KS3 and KS4
- Duties: Planning, teaching, and marking — delivering a full classroom experience
Ideal Candidate Will Have: ✅ QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
✅ Experience teaching Media Studies at KS4 and ideally KS5
✅ Confidence in planning and delivering Eduqas GCSE and A-Level Media
✅ A genuine passion for media education and student engagement
