Smile Education are currently recruiting for a Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in the Telford area.The school is committed to providing an ambitious, broad and balanced curriculum that enables every pupil to achieve their full potential. Duties and Responsibilities
- Planning and marking lessons in line with school expectations.
- Delivering high-quality, purposeful and engaging Maths lessons.
- Creating a positive learning environment that encourages students to develop confidence and enthusiasm for Mathematics.
- Differentiating and adapting lessons to meet the needs of pupils with SEND and other additional needs.
- Working collaboratively within the Maths department to support the continued success and development of the department.
- Teaching Maths up to GCSE level, with flexibility to teach A Level where required.
The School Are Looking For
- Maths ECTs or fully qualified Maths Teachers.
- Experience teaching Maths within UK secondary school classrooms.
- Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum.
- Experience teaching GCSE Maths and familiarity with relevant examination boards.
- A calm, professional and engaging classroom presence.
- Clear and confident communication skills.
- Flexibility, reliability and a genuine passion for supporting student progress.
- The ability to inspire students and develop their confidence and understanding in Mathematics.
