Smile Education are working in partnership with a high-performing secondary school in Smethwick to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Maths Teacher for a long-term position, with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract for the right candidate.

The school offers modern facilities, supportive leadership and a well-established Maths department focused on raising attainment and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons.
The Role:
  • Teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available for suitable candidates)
  • Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
  • Differentiating to support and challenge all learners
  • Monitoring progress and contributing to strong departmental outcomes
  • Full-time, long-term position with potential to become permanent
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently completing ECT induction
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
  • High expectations of behaviour and achievement
  • Passionate about inspiring students and improving outcomes
  • ECTs are strongly encouraged to apply – strong induction and mentorship support available
