Are you a dedicated Maths Teacher looking for your next long-term opportunity after Easter? Do you have a passion for making maths accessible, engaging, and rewarding for students?
Smile Education is working in partnership with a high-performing and forward-thinking secondary school in the Smethwick area to recruit an enthusiastic Maths Teacher for a long-term role through to the end of the academic year.

About the School This is a well-established and ambitious secondary school with a strong reputation for academic success and innovation. The school places a real emphasis on high standards, student progress, and creating a culture of aspiration.
Staff are supported by an experienced leadership team who prioritise professional development and wellbeing. The school fosters a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to challenge themselves and achieve their full potential.

The Role
  • Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
  • Planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons
  • Supporting students of all abilities to achieve strong outcomes
  • Marking and assessment in line with school expectations
  • Contributing to the wider life of the department where appropriate
What We’re Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for numeracy
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • A proactive and positive approach to teaching
