The Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students and build confidence across the Maths curriculum. You will be joining a supportive department that values creativity, collaboration and strong outcomes for students.
Responsibilities will include:
  • Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Differentiating learning to support students of varying abilities
  • Monitoring, assessing and tracking student progress
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Supporting students to build confidence and develop strong mathematical understanding
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing positively to the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A passion for Maths and inspiring young people
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A positive and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
