Smile Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the Telford area.

The RoleAs a Maths Teacher, you will:

• Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with school expectations.
• Deliver engaging and high-quality Maths lessons across the secondary age range.
• Teach Maths up to GCSE level, with the opportunity to teach A Level where required.
• Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
• Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students, including those with SEND and additional learning requirements.
• Support students to develop their confidence, knowledge and understanding of Mathematics.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Maths department and across the wider school.

The School Are Looking For

• An ECT or fully qualified Maths Teacher.
• Previous experience teaching Maths within a UK secondary school.
• Strong subject knowledge and a good understanding of the secondary Maths curriculum.
• Experience teaching Maths at GCSE level and familiarity with relevant exam specifications.
• A confident, engaging and professional approach to teaching.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Someone who is reliable, adaptable and committed to supporting student progress.
• The ability to motivate students and encourage a positive attitude towards Mathematics.
