Smile Education is looking for a passionate, experienced Maths Teacher to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that builds confidence and promotes achievement in mathematics. As a Qualified Maths Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with the national curriculum
Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of learners of varying abilities
Mark work, assess progress, and provide constructive feedback using both formal examinations and informal assessments
Maintain a safe, welcoming, and disciplined learning environment that promotes engagement and resilience
Keep accurate records of student progress, attainment, and attendance
Attend staff meetings and collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and best practice
Participate in extracurricular activities such as parents’ evenings and communicate effectively with parents and carers

To be successful, you will have:

A bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related subject and QTS (or equivalent)
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly and engagingly
Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire learners
A genuine passion for working with young people and supporting them to build confidence and problem-solving skills in Maths
