Smile Education is working with a large further education provider near Solihull to recruit a Lecturer in Electrical Installation to join their Construction team as soon as possible.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician or FE lecturer who is passionate about teaching, developing future talent, and shaping a modern, industry-aligned curriculum.
About the Role As a Lecturer in Electrical Installation, you will:
  • Teach across a range of Electrical Installation programmes
  • Act as a course tutor and support learners throughout their journey
  • Contribute to curriculum development and flexible learning materials
  • Build strong industry links and promote work experience opportunities
  • Embed employability, sustainability, and employer engagement within courses
  • Maintain high-quality standards including internal verification
  • Promote a safe, inclusive and respectful learning environment
What We’re Looking For:
  • Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification
  • Level 5 teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards)
  • Level 3 Assessor qualification (or willingness to work towards)
  • Level 2 English & Maths
  • Proven industry experience
  • Experience teaching related programmes
